Youth mentoring, parenting support and family fun events
Mondays 10:00am -12:00pm
Introducing a new opportunity for parents/caregivers and children to enjoy time together while discovering and focusing on a different theme each week, such as kids in the kitchen, animal themes, art exploration, etc.
Centers will be set up for families to discover and enjoy. Books, songs, crafts, move and groove activities and snack provided.
Inter-Generational Play Group
Third Fridays 10:00-11:00am
Parents, Grandparents, Children, Adults of all ages join Lakeland for a new program. Our intergenerational play group will offer a time of learning and interaction between generation. Children, adults, and senior citizens will interact together though story time, an activity , simple craft and conversation. Cookies, coffee and juice will be served after the program ends at 11:00am. Join us as we get to know people in our community that we do not interact with everyday.
Tuesdays & Wednesdays 10:00—10:30am
The Fit Kids programing is to get your kids moving! Activities will include fun exercises, stretching, climbing, jumping, throwing/catching, other games that engage gross motor skills, Go Noodle, bowling, tumble mats, parachute fun, outdoor play and songs and much more fun to come! This will take place in the middle of our Kids Club program. Come early or stay late for free play during Kidz Club.
Tuesday & Wednesday 9:00am—Noon
Bring your child for a morning of free play and parent facilitated stations. Lakeland will prepare activities for parents and children to engage in learning and play together. Drop in anytime from 9:00am to Noon. Snack will be served at 10:30am . This program will offer a space for parents and children alike to meet new friends, engage with other families while learning and growing together. 10-10:30 we will offer a Fit Kids Program.
Library Fun for Little Ones
Shell Lake Library on Thursdays 10:30am-11:15am
Moms, dads, grandparents, daycare providers, aunts, uncles, and even neighbors are invited to bring their preschoolers to this special sharing time of storybooks, crafts, and snacks. This program is geared to preschool age children; however there is no age minimum or maximum.

New meeting days and times! This support group meets the third Thursday of every month from 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM over breakfast at various locations around Spooner. Please call for more details or if you would like to be added to our mailing list.
